Medical, Dental, and Vision Benefits
As a new full-time team associate, you have the opportunity to access an extensive BlueCross BlueShield health insurance package, tailored for both families and individuals. You're presented with two plan options: a traditional health plan and a high-deductible health plan. This comprehensive package also includes dental, vision, prescription drug coverage, telehealth services, and hearing benefits, all starting at just $101.10/week for family plans and $38.25/week for individual plans. *Please note, new team members are required to complete 30 days of service before they're eligible for our health benefits program.

401(k) Retirement Options

Opt to allocate anywhere from a minimal 1% to a substantial 75% of your earnings, before taxes, via automatic weekly contributions from your paycheck. Join the program just 30 days following your start date, provided you are at least 18 years old.

Paid Time Off (PTO)
We understand that part of being successful on the job is having time away to relax, refresh, and refocus. Paid Time Off begins after 90 days of service.
Number of PTO Weeks:
When You're Eligible: 1 After 90 days of employment during first calendar year* if start date is prior to Sept. 30 1 During year in which 1st anniversary occurs 2 2nd through 7th 3 8th through 19th 4 20th through 29th 5 30th through 39th 6 40th through 49th 8 50th anniversary and thereafter * NOTE: Your first “calendar year” includes any portion of the first calendar year in which you begin your employment, and will not necessarily be a full 12-month period. For example, if you are hired in April, your first calendar year would be April through December. Note as well, if you begin your employment after September in any given year, you will not be able to complete 90 days of employment before the year end, and thus will not be able to schedule any PTO until the following calendar year.

Holidays
Our paid company holidays begin after 30 days of service:

Company-Paid Life and Disability Coverage
To help protect your family, we provide Basic Life and AD&D insurance for you and Dependent Life insurance for your spouse and children at no cost. You're eligible for this coverage after a 30-day waiting period.
In the unfortunate event of an accident or illness that keeps you out of work, we also provide short-term disability coverage – available at no cost to you after one year of service. This benefit ensures that you continue to receive a portion of your income for up to 26 weeks in the event of a disability. -
Flexible Spending and Health Savings Account
Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) allow you to set aside money from your paycheck to pay health care and dependent care expenses with tax-free dollars.
Associates enrolled in the HDHP can use a Health Savings Account (HSA) to pay medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision expenses with tax-free dollars. Averitt contributes up to $20/week into each associate's HSA.

Hearing Care Benefits
Associates and dependents are provided coverage for hearing exams, hearing aid devices, and hearing loss services.

Family and Personal Counseling
Our assistance program offers free, confidential services to help associates and family members with a wide range of issues. This service is provided to all associates regardless of enrollment in our benefits. Associates can receive solutions now for issues such as:

Tobacco Cessation Programs
Breaking free from nicotine dependence is not the only reason to quit smoking – cigarette smoke contains more than 7,000 toxic chemicals that can cause serious health problems, numerous diseases, and death. Averitt offers a program that provides free medications and support to help you kick the habit for good. Plus, being tobacco-free saves you money on your weekly benefits premiums!

Referral Rewards: $1,000 per Hired Referral in 30 Days
Our associates are the best recruiters we have, because they already know people who would fit with our team. We call this finding People Like You. Finding new associates to grow our team will reward you by strengthening our future, as well as reward you financially with bonuses for referring others who become Averitt associates.
