We have been setting standards in the truck driving industry since our beginning over 50 years ago. We recognize the dedication our CDL-A drivers put in every day, and we want to match that. We're so excited to announce the arrival of our brand new 2023 Freightliners, fully outfitted with specialized add-ons for your convenience and the newest safety tech, putting you on the fast track to success! Here's everything you need to know about this latest step in our commitment to total driver satisfaction.
We're always on the lookout for ways we can improve the lives of our associates. These trucks were specifically designed to come fully equipped with industry-leading specs. The trucks run off the superior power of a Detroit Engine and Detroit automatic 12-speed transmission built for reliability, all with the goal of making your time on the road as smooth as possible. And, to further our commitment to your safety, these Freightliners are outfitted with the latest safety equipment. From Enhanced Stability Control tech made to prevent rollovers and a front radar with the ability to detect possible collisions and lane keep/lane departure warnings, to a blind spot detector and disc brakes on both the front and rear axles, your time on the road has never been safer.
These trucks not only have the best safety tech but their cabs were designed for ultimate comfort and convenience. The Freightliners come with large, comfortable seats, a top-notch HVAC system, and a low-mounted, wrap-around digital dash. Built to last and thrive in any extreme weather conditions, the trucks are equipped with a sloped hood, high-tech thermal and noise insulation, an upper door seal, a detachable rain tray, and heated side mirrors.
We recognize the specialized skills you bring to the driver's seat and wanted to be sure to provide you with the latest in-cab features to reward that and simplify your downtime. From a Thermo King diesel APU to keep your cab the temp you want and built-in refrigerated and overhead storage, to entertainment features like a prewired power inverter, flat screen TV mount, and integrated antennas made for your relaxation, here's more of what you can look forward to!
We want our associates to get the most out of their truck driving careers and we know that a huge part of your satisfaction depends on reliable equipment that will get you from point A to point B, safely, quickly, and efficiently. That's why we made the decision to get you behind the wheel of these fully outfitted 2023 Freightliners; we know that having top equipment is a reason why many drivers come to Averitt.
And our associates not only get the best equipment but also the resources and support to simplify maintenance. The average age of our tractors is just three years, an intentional decision to make sure that you're less likely to encounter mechanical issues. If you do happen to need some assistance, our on-site maintenance shops, and 100+ service centers throughout our network, get you back on the road in no time.
