At Averitt, we're committed to proudly honoring those who have served in the military and participating in service projects that give back to our communities. Charity Bailey, Director of Truckload Sales Dallas, tells the story of how Averitt's Texas region got involved with collecting cards for our troops.
This year for Averitt's Team Up challenge, Region 6 committed to sending 10,000 cards to the troops who may not be able to make it home for the holidays. With 15,101 cards collected and sent overseas, we greatly exceeded our goal and were able to make a meaningful impact.
