We have strategically established a network of over 100 safe and secure facilities in 21 states. We're committed to expanding and improving these facilities to better meet the needs of our associates.
Investing in facilities is not just about improving infrastructure; it's an investment in our people -- our most valuable asset. We've made some major improvements in the past year, including a wide-ranging upgrade across three facilities in Nashville.
The Nashville service center project includes more-efficient gates so our associates can easily maneuver through the entrance to an abundance of parking spaces. We've also renovated the on-site shop, updated bathrooms, added maintenance pits, and more. Additional improvements include an enhanced lobby and exterior so our associates can feel proud of their workplace. There is really no other transportation facility like it in the Nashville area!
Also in Nashville, we've moved our Distribution & Fulfillment facility to a new location off Interstate 840, a vital corridor in Middle Tennessee. This 290,000-square-foot warehouse will help us to continue building density in our core network. Meanwhile, at a third location in Nashville, we've made even more space for our On Tour Logistics team, which specializes in concert tours and other special events. Nashville is a prime location for this service, and we're excited to see what opportunities this expansion will open up for our entire team. The extra space at this location is available as parking for our over-the-road driving associates.

Exciting developments are underway across our entire service network as we reinforce our commitment to our associates. From shop renovations in Cookeville, TN, to parking lot upgrades in Knoxville, TN and Bowling Green, KY, our focus is on creating safe, accessible, and modern spaces for our drivers. We recently upgraded our presence in Mobile, AL, where associates can look forward to a new service center, maintenance shop and warehouse, enhancing our capacity to serve associates and customers. In Houston, we're starting a shop expansion, as well as driver shower upgrades and the construction of a brand-new truck wash facility. Meanwhile, in Meridian, MS, we're establishing a Driver Support Center alongside other upgrades. Even more expansions and upgrades are scheduled for the upcoming year!
Our Driver Support Centers are a haven for drivers, providing a place to relax, grab a snack, watch television, exercise, use a desktop PC, take a refreshing shower, or even do laundry. Our Driver Support Centers are designed to make life on the road more comfortable and enjoyable, and we're excited for our associates to use and enjoy them.
