Team Up Community Challenge: Lifting Up Our Associates and Our Communities

Team Up Community Challenge: Lifting Up Our Associates and Our Communities

At the heart of our culture are the Four Averitt Beliefs: Always Averitt, Associate Sharing, Profit Sharing, and The Averitt Way. But what do these beliefs truly mean?

Associate Sharing is rooted in the understanding that people seek purpose and meaning in their lives—and ideally, in their workplace as well. We believe that work should be more than just a job; it should be an opportunity to make a difference. That’s why we are committed to providing our associates with meaningful ways to serve, give, and impact the lives of others—together. Whether it’s through community service, charitable initiatives, or supporting one another, Associate Sharing is about fostering a culture of purpose and connection.

Because when we lift others up, we all rise together, and one way we demonstrate our dedication to helping others is through the year-round Team Up Community Challenge. In 2024, our associates went above and beyond in their service, and the result was an astounding 37,401 combined hours across our network!

That total nearly doubles our previous milestone of 18,764 hours. And the efforts went to a wide range of projects, from clothing, food and toy drives to school events, blood donations and holiday initiatives. Altogether, 115 Averitt teams participated, supporting 235 organizations.

Are you ready to explore career opportunities in an environment that believes in lifting up our associates and our communities?  Check out open positions across our network!
