Dedicated Drivers

Dedicated shuttle drivers enjoy the many privileges that come with having consistent customers. Unlike some driver positions, this one gives you a better idea of the number of miles and hours each week holds, which means you'll have a better idea of what to expect in every paycheck. And because you know your customers and their typical freight load, you'll never be surprised or slowed down by unusual shipments.

• Competitive pay:
  • Average $1,200 per week / $62,400 per year
  • Starting pay of $29 per hour
  • Average 42 hours per week
  • Overtime rate of time and a half after 40 hours
• Home daily
• Monday-Friday, with weekend work as needed and will rotate
• Shift is 7 p.m. - 3 a.m.
• This is a 24/7 operation and start times could vary based on production
• Shuttle trailers between four manufacturing facilities in St. Louis and a distribution center in St. Charles, MO
• Pickup bottle loads when returning to the manufacturing facilities
• Drop & hook and shuttling trailers during your shift
• No touch freight
• Weekend work is necessary and is based on the customers' production levels

• Selected routes average between $1,429 per week / $74,000 per year
• Starting pay: 60.5 cpm
• Average 2,000 miles per week
• $20.50 stop pay with 5-6 stops per week

• Enjoy consistent home time with both day and night positions available
• A five-day work week with potential weekend work (Saturday or Sunday)

• Hauling food products, miscellaneous goods, and furniture to big box retail locations in the Nashville area and College Park, GA areas
• A mix of reefer and dry van (reefer experience is not required, training provided)

• Drivers can bid on new routes twice a year, with opportunities to choose based on seniority
• Re-bidding occurs in April and October; pick a route that suits your lifestyle and schedule

• Home daily with late evening to overnight routes
• The workweek starts Monday or Tuesday, depending on driver's selected bid route
• Start and end times depend on selected route

As a Dedicated Flex Truck Driver, you'll enjoy the benefits of consistent customers with the added variety of working with multiple dedicated accounts. This role allows you to drive for different customers while ensuring steady, reliable work each week. You'll also receive a guaranteed minimum pay of $1,400 per week, with opportunities to earn more based on your routes and performance.

What You Can Expect as a Dedicated Flex Truck Driver:

Competitive Pay:

• Average pay: $1,809 per week; equating to around $94,080 per year
• Guaranteed minimum: $1,400 per week if you're available to work the full week
• Starting pay: $0.70 cpm

• Pay for stops and loading/unloading (not all accounts)
• Detention, breakdown, and layover pay when applicable
• Company sponsored per diem program
• Home Weekly: Drivers can accept two-week assignments with a 34-hour reset on the road, earning an additional $200 in per diem

• Steady weekly schedule with a variety of routes depending on the account you're working on.
• Miles will fluctuate depending on which account you are working on

• Class A CDL required
• Adaptability: Must be comfortable working with different types of freight and customers
• Flexibility: Occasionally assist with other Averitt operations to keep you on the road and working
• Dedicated Customer Focus: You'll work with one account at a time for a minimum of one week, ensuring the customer's needs are met before moving to another dedicated customer
